Will B. calls Endicott, New York, home and has been a regular donor at the CSL Plasma center in Endwell, New York, for more than two years, having donated more than 200 times.
He started donating in part to get a bit of extra money, but he heard firsthand from a patient, and that has made all the difference. He also appreciates the ease of the process to donate plasma and the friendly environment at his donation center.
Will has also told others about the opportunity to save a life by donating plasma. When people ask about the experience, he shares he has found diet, rest and hydration help support a smooth plasma donation process.
Will has also met people in his community that rely on medicines made from plasma. He shares, “One person in particular thanked me when I mentioned that I donate plasma. It made my day.”
Will says he continues to learn more about what plasma can do to help save the lives of others.
Will adds: “For me, personally, donating plasma helps in a financial way, but also feel like I’m helping people at the same time. Donating plasma has changed my life in a very positive way.”
