An Assistant Manager of Quality (AMQ), Pari P. joined CSL Plasma in August 2020 at the CSL Plasma center in Springfield, Illinois. She has plans to transfer as an AMQ to a new center in Kankakee, Illinois later in 2022.
In her current role, she leads and executes center quality responsibilities in the collection of plasma from donors to create plasma-derived therapies for our patients in need.
“My role at CSL Plasma has gone above and beyond my job description,” she says. “I have learned via many CSL development programs and training classes to be a curious learner, a teacher and mentor, an analyst, a teammate, an influencer and an innovator.”
Pari started her full-time role while finishing graduate school. She found CSL Plasma out of curiosity while working on a class project gathering treatment data and patterns in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. She learned about the use of plasma-derived therapies that rely on plasma donors.
Pari also has a personal connection. She lost her father to an illness, and wonders if a plasma-derived treatment would have made a difference. “Now, every day I work hard to help donors ‘do the amazing’ to help patients in need access therapies made from plasma,” she shares. That ability to make a difference provides her career purpose.
“I have found my promising future at CSL Plasma, where we all make a difference,” she shares. “The CSL community is strong, and transparency is valued and encouraged. Our CSL values are clear – we create a workplace environment where we focus on patients, innovation, integrity, collaboration and superior performance.”
