Adriana P. is a CSL Plasma donor in Tucson, Arizona. She began donating plasma in 2015, and has donated on an off, taking some breaks. A family member referred her to being a plasma donor.
“I love helping people,” Adriana says. “Being able to donate something from my own body, to help another’s sick or recovering body get better, means so much. Knowing that I am going to help at least one person with my donation is also humbling.”
She started donating in part for the donor payments, which have helped her provide extras for her children.
She adds, “After hearing about how plasma can help others as well as researching reasons myself, donating plasma eventually became more than just the rewards.”
She would encourage anyone interested in plasma donation to “just do it.” At the center where she often donates, in southeast Tucson, she appreciates helpful CSL Plasma staff who work to make every donation a smooth and comfortable experience.
“Yes, donating plasma can take some time out of your day, but it’s all totally worth it because everyone gets helped out,” she says. “Go donate!”
